Demon Core is avaliable here: demonrc.eu
The same like other versions of this PDB is mounting hole 30,5 x 30,5. This one have nice shape. Dual Bec 12V and 5V. LPF ( no noise on video) and pins for Osd, Cam and VTx and of course setting voltage 12/5V using jumpers on board
The rest specification:
– 3-8S batteries supported– 120A constant, 180A burst
– 36 x 36 x 5.5mm with 30.5 x 30.5mm holes
– Integrated Butterworth LC filter for both lines (5V,12V)
– 12V step down regulator – 1A with cooling, 0.6A without
– 5V step down regulator – 0.6A with cooling, 0.4A without
– 5V/12V switch for CCD board camera (filtered power)
– 5V/12V switch for video transmitter (filtered power)
– 5V/12V switch for OSD (filtered power)
– OSD bypass switch for no-OSD setups
– Shunt for OSD video in/out
– Reverse polarity protection of battery input
– Super low profile: 4,5 mm
– Weight: 7g
I made test with load (33Ohm resistor) :
- 5V line - 151mA
- 12V line- 363mA
Noise on 5 V line was 96 MHz and 150 MHz at 12 V. Pretty nice I think.
Peak to Peak at 5V (4,6-5,1) - about 500mV
Peak to Peak at 12 V- about 1V (11,5-12,5) - don't worry all stuff using 12V will work properly.
Summary
- the board is similar to rest of demon cores- we have nice stable V output for Vtx, Osd, Cam with LPF
- light weight
- no osd biuld in
- tested in flight and no strap on video - LPF working good at 4S.
If you dont need biuld in osd and looking for low weight PDB you can consider this one.
