Dinogy 4s 1300mAh 65C test
Today one of lipos for our racing drones.I tested this lipo and compare to Tattu 1550mAh 75C.
Cable lenghts
- Tattu have 14 AWG cable and 10cm to XT60 connector- Dinogy have 14 AWG cable and 10,5cm to XT60 connector
and side to side
Have almost the same thickness
33mm - Tattu
31mm - Dinogy
Weight
It's normally that more capacity need to weight more but difference is not bigDischarge Test
I also made a discharge test for each batteries. Lipo was brand new before test. I made them using Druck DPI620 Calibrator to set up constant current discharge and Agilent Probe 1146A to measure voltage on lipo.Test bench
with digital load
On picture above you can see only 1.3A load - it's first test to check properly working measuring system.
For 10C (13A Dinogy and 15,5A Tattu) discharge chart see below
At first second was set up and stability load according to measurement time test.
Summary
As we can see Dinogy have almost the same line of discharge as a Tattu.Don't forget that Tattu have more peak current 116A to Dinogy 84,5A. Sometimes on our racing quads current goes in peak to 100A so Dinogy can quickly lose capacity during overload. Big advantages for Tattu because have balancer cover plug - very useful feature.
If you consider not powerfully sets and slowly flight Dinogy can be a cheaper solution.
I'll update post after some flights.
